Multigrid 481 for Driveways, Grassed and Hardstanding Areas
The Multigrid 481 from GrassGrids is the perfect solution for driveways, grassed or hardstanding areas.
The Multigrid 481 is designed to withstand loading found in domestic and pedestrian settings. It has a load bearing capacity of 800 tonnes/m² when filled.
It is suitable for the following environments:
- Domestic parking/driveways
- Shed bases
- Garden paths
- Pedestrian walkways
- Verge reinforcement
- Bank stabilisation
The grids are fully SuDs compliant. SuDs are physical structures built to receive surface runoff, normally in the form of infiltration or attenuation solutions. They provide treatment of surface water by sedimentation, filtration, absorption and bio-degradation. Permeable paving is expected to absorb 60mm/hr in the UK, the Multigrid 481 from GrassGrids exceeds this requirement.
For quantities larger than 50m² please contact us for price

Note 1: The vertical loading strength of all grids will easily handle the maximum wheel load of any road vehicle in the UK. The turning forces and dry steering (turning the wheel while stationary) is the main cause of damage of these grids. It is therefore important to establish vehicle class use before specifying.

Signing for your Delivery
All materials must be signed for when they arrive on site, we would politely request that you sign and clearly print your name, therefore in the unlikely event of a delivery discrepancy we will have a person to contact by name. Items can be left without a signature at your request. However, we would like to bring to your attention that we cannot be held responsible for any damages or shortages.
Late Delivery
In the unlikely event of a late delivery, we are unable to compensate you for your builder’s time. Please ensure that your materials are on site before organising labour.
Checking your Delivery
We use third party carriers. Please check that you have received the correct amount of packages before signing the driver’s delivery tickets. The reason for this is that once you have signed for as being received complete and in good condition, claims for damages or shortages are not covered by the carrier’s insurance company. Please note that signing the ticket unchecked will not cover you.
