Due to climate change we are now seeing both a shortage of groundwater and also localised flooding. This is partly down to the fact that water is unable to permeate into the ground owing to an increase in paved surfaces (concrete, tiles, block paving etc). Grass and Gravel grids allow you to have a water permeable surface. This prevents both a shortage of groundwater and prevents flooding, without having to invest in a costly drainage system. This also reduces our ecological footprint and prevents the limitation of natural habitats.

Using plastic grids when filling with gravel is beneficial as they keep the gravel in place which ensures a stable and permeable surface without any rutting formation.

The short answer is yes. The grids can easily cope with vehicle use up to 5 tonnes. When filled, the load bearing capacity is 800 tonnes/m².
